Recent developments in the Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Biology provided new hopes in treatment of diseases and disorders that yet cannot be treated. Stem cells have the potential to differentiate into various cell types in the body during age. These provide new cells for the body as it grows, and replace specialized cells that are damaged. New findings have been identified recent years which we expect to be published soon. Since mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) can be easily harvested from the bone marrow aspirate and MSC can be obtained from adipose tissue, under GMP Cell Labs can also be cultured and expanded in vitro they have become a good target for tissue regeneration.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is nowadays widely applied in different clinical scenarios, such as orthopedics, ophthalmology and healing therapies, as a growth factor pool for improving tissue regeneration. Studies into its clinical efficiency are not conclusive and one of the main reasons for this is that different PRP preparations are used, eliciting different responses that cannot be compared. We have based much of our work on the PRP science. It has helped us build the proper machines, create protocols for their use and characterize its modality for certain indications. It is the minimum knowledge for every regenerative medicine physician.

In these few lectures we will show you how the blood components and stem cell from different source works and why we use it to inject and regenerate tissues.

If you are interested to learn more do not hesitate to attend the Basic Science Panel where world renown medical experts would share the advancements they have been applying at their practice.
